The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
We visited northern Spain in 2014, and spent a few hours taking photos at the cemetery location. While the crosses were long gone, the grave mounds were still prominent. The stone circle where the shootout was filmed was still there, buried in the grass.
Since then, a local group has uncovered the stone circle, and put grave markers back up. A documentary, Sad Hill Unearthed, is avaialble on Netflix that shows the restoration.
